Two ways to get a refund
- Changed your mind? Full refund within 30 days of purchase, as long as you haven’t used your pass to download a watermark-free file. Email support@vitaekit.com with your order ID and we’ll process the refund.
- Something went wrong? Broken download, wrong template applied, double charge, anything that didn’t work as described — we always refund you, regardless of whether you’ve downloaded. Just email us with details.
1. Who is offering this policy
This refund policy is offered by VitaeKit, available at vitaekit.com. For any refund question, contact us at support@vitaekit.com.
2. When refunds apply
Each VitaeKit purchase is a one-time digital product (a 30-day pass unlocking specific templates). The refund rule reflects the nature of digital downloads:
- Before you download. If you bought a pass and haven’t yet used it to download a watermark-free file, we refund you in full within 30 days. Maybe the template wasn’t quite what you expected on a real preview, you found something else, or you just changed your mind — no problem.
- After download. Once you’ve used your pass to download a watermark-free PDF or Word file, the digital product has been delivered — that file is yours forever, even after the pass expires. We can’t take it back, so we don’t refund the purchase. This is the same rule Steam, iTunes, App Store, and most digital-product sellers use.
- Genuine technical issues — always refunded. Broken download, the wrong template was applied to your file, you were charged twice, the service didn’t work as described — these get refunded regardless of whether you downloaded. Just include enough detail in your email that we can confirm what went wrong.
3. How to request a refund
Send a single email from the address on your purchase receipt to support@vitaekit.com. Include your order ID (it’s on the receipt the payment processor emailed you) and a one-line note on why you’re requesting the refund (changed your mind, technical issue, etc.).
We acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days and returned to the original payment method.
4. Failed payments
If your payment failed — insufficient funds, card declined, etc. — no refund is needed. You weren’t charged. Pending holds on your statement should drop off automatically within 5-7 business days. The exact timeline is set by your card issuer.
5. EU / UK consumer rights
If you’re a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on digital-content purchases under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations (2013).
Under both regulations, this 14-day right is automatically waived when you give explicit consent at checkout to begin immediate access to digital content and acknowledge that doing so means losing the right of withdrawal. Our payment processor surfaces that consent checkbox at checkout (this is the standard pattern across the EU digital-goods market).
Even where the statutory right has been waived, the policy in §2 above still applies: full refund before download within 30 days, and always for genuine technical issues — both more generous than the statutory baseline.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a refund concern, please email us first — almost all questions are resolved within 1-2 days. Filing a chargeback with your card issuer without contacting us first results in account suspension and revocation of any active products on the account.
We don’t apply this to legitimate fraud reports (e.g. your card was used without your authorisation). In those cases, contact us AND your bank — we’ll cooperate with their investigation.
7. Refund method and timing
Refunds are returned to the original payment method (the card or wallet used at checkout). Most refunds appear on your statement within 5-10 business days; this timeline is controlled by your card issuer, not by us. If a refund hasn’t appeared after 10 business days, email us and we’ll provide the refund confirmation reference so you can escalate with your bank.
