1. Your use of VitaeKit

You may use VitaeKit to build, preview, and download resumes for yourself or on behalf of another person with their permission. You may not use the service to create content that is illegal, defamatory, or that infringes on anyone’s intellectual property or personal rights.

2. Your content

You retain full ownership of every word, image, and detail you enter into the editor. VitaeKit stores this content locally in your browser (see the Privacy Policy) and takes no ownership interest in it.

3. Templates and design

The 12 resume templates, design assets, code, and all other materials provided through VitaeKit remain the property of VitaeKit. You are granted a free, non-exclusive license to use the templates to create resumes for yourself or on behalf of another individual. You may not resell, sublicense, or rebrand the templates as a standalone product.

4. No warranty

VitaeKit is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees about uptime, feature continuity, data persistence in your browser, PDF rendering fidelity on every device, or the outcome of any job application you submit using a resume built with the service. Applicant Tracking Systems evolve over time; while we test our templates against major parsers, we cannot guarantee that every ATS everywhere parses every field perfectly.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VitaeKit and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including, but not limited to, lost job opportunities, lost drafts due to browser data loss, or any other outcome related to a job application.

6. Changes to the service

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Because the resume data is stored in your browser, long-running sessions (weeks or months) may see version drift between the stored data shape and the live editor. We do our best to migrate old drafts forward automatically, but cannot guarantee every historic draft remains editable.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VitaeKit is operated. Where applicable, mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain in effect notwithstanding this clause.
